This past weekend found us in nearby France in the city of Annecy. Often referred to as the "Venice of Savoie", this 14th century city boasts the spectacular Lac Annecy set at the base of the French Alps. The boats available for rent were too tempting to pass up on such a beautiful day so we promptly climbed onboard..... and although we neglected to bring swimsuits; the girls and their daddy threw caution to the wind and went for a swim in their skivvies. I've rarely seen such happy faces. Needless to say, we can't wait to go back.

Sorry about the dress. I often hit upon cute dresses at the Gap.... you just have to hunt for them. And, yep.... that's the place. Awesome pics..... much better idea of the space.
DeleteOh my gosh!! You actually went to Annecy?? This is the city that I suggested you go visit. I went there the summer after Bill and I got married. It is such a beautiful place. I think I have an entire scrapbook dedicated to this city.
ReplyDeleteWow Crissy! Gorgeous photos. Next stop for us will be the South of France.. love it.
