Nuts for Nutella........#1

..... so we've officially been here a month and eating has become a "hunger games" of sorts.   If it were just my guy and I..... we'd have no trouble; lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, yummy baguettes..... but with kids addicted to American foods and snacks containing high fructose corn syrup (outlawed here).... foods are just different enough to make them love it or hate it.  However, one thing we've discovered and all love is Nutella.  It is as ubiquitous here as Coke in the U.S.  In fact, in times of stress we tend to tell ourselves :).....

Ofcourse, Nutella is available in the States too, but for whatever reason I always reached for my jar of Jiff instead.   But now that we've found a new love, my daughter Ashtyn and I have decided to make Nutella recipes a experiment theme during our stay here.  First up, these yummy looking tarts from the darling food blog spoon fork bacon:

Recipe here

We're going to try them out this weekend..... oh, and wish me luck.... grocery shopping for ingredients is it's own beast when you don't know French!  I'll let you know how it goes. :)

Any other Nutella lovers out there?
