Postcards from.......

We took our first day trip this past Friday to the quaint village of Gruyere, nestled in the Swiss Alps...... famous for the Gruyere castle and Gruyere cheese, ofcourse!   Now granted, I'm not particularly well-traveled but this is easily the most beautiful landscape I have ever laid my eyes on.  It really does look like a postcard, no?

What is the prettiest place you've ever seen?

  1. Those pictures are breathtaking! You are so lucky to be there! I would have to say Tuscany is the prettiest place I've been.

Or to be quite honest, some of the rolling hills near my home in Northern California because they hold a special place in my heart.

  2. Wow! Look at all that green! The prettiest place I have ever been is Telluride, Colorado. My family and I used to summer there every year -- it was truly magical. :-)

    1. Yes, it is Pears & Bears from many moons ago. Holden is the second in our family to wear it and I fully expect it will look just as darling on Marlowe in a few more. Thanks!
