It's hard to believe but it's that time again. Aside from picking out a new outfit for the first day of school; shopping for school supplies was my very favorite thing to do as a girl..... and, even now, I still feel delight browsing the aisles of the local office supply store with my girls or upon taking a freshly sharpened pencil to the first page in a clean notebook. New school supplies represent new beginnings full of expectation and potential for the coming year..... and why leave that only to the kids? I believe that "freshening up" one's desk can provide renewed inspiration at any age! Here's a desk set-up I wouldn't mind having from a couple of my favorite online sources: Bungalow 5 and See Jane Work.

ReplyDeleteHa! is right...... definitely no Walmart's around. Actually, much to my chagrin, I was told that my girls only need to bring a pencil pouch with pencils and they will happily bill me for the rest...... that's how it works in Switzerland. :)
