What Jet Lag looks like.....

Well,  I'm happy to report that 2 parents, 3 children and 11 pieces of luggage arrived safely in Geneva, Switzerland.  Thank you so much for all of your well wishes!  I really appreciate it!
The last couple of days have been a whirlwind of highs and lows.  Here is just a snippet:

High:  See above
Low:  2 year olds' body clocks are apparently not as resilient as the rest of them; we were up the entire night while Marlowe was wide awake on US time

High:  We got a European rental car that seats 7 and can actually hold 11 pieces of luggage
Low:  We busted out the tail-light of the aforementioned rental car whilst caught between a hill and a  vineyard trying to turn around

High:  The sky here is a beautiful shade of blue and the view is spectacular with the mountains as the backdrop
Low:  It's in the mid-high 80's and there is no air conditioning

High:  The girls and I had our first outing today.... taking the bus to meet daddy for lunch at his office
Low:  The machine to buy bus passes is all in French and only takes coins.
Low:  I don't know French and I didn't have coins so it took 3 times as long as it should have
High:  We made it there, had a good lunch, and made it home.

High:  We got our Apple TV working
Low:  No Pandora radio in Switzerland

High:  The girls are doing great and seem genuinely happy.
High:  A friend gave me a Swiss flat iron and a Nespresso machine...... made getting up that first morning so much easier...... maybe shallow, but true
High:  My guy did an excellent job meeting the movers, unpacking all of the boxes and placing the furniture for us the week before we arrived
High:  We are blessed with great friends and family that have showered us with support and love
High:  Skype & FaceTime

So..... so far, the positives definitely outweigh the negative and, for that, I am very, very grateful.
