Addicted to: Ribbon

......... and I know I'm not the only one.  When my errands take me to Michael's, a fabric store, Hobby Lobby, even Walmart....... my feet seem to beeline toward the ribbon aisle in search of pretty satins or grosgrains to tie around packages or in my girl's hair; or to be used in a crafting project.  In fact, before I opened my children's clothing boutique a few years ago, I tried to convince my husband of the business potential of a ribbon store.  He didn't go for it but my delight in ribbons hasn't diminished one bit.  Here are a few lovely products and images to give you a ribbon "high" today: :)

I tend to buy ribbon in bulk (25 or 50 yd bolts) as well; deciding on a color or two each year to have on hand.  Then I just stay on the look-out for coordinating wrapping paper, tissue, etc.  My favorite online source is JKM Ribbon.  They used to be wholesale only but thankfully are now open to all customers!

  2. I am definitely a ribbon collector too! I always stock up when they're on sale at craft stores, and I figure that if I don't do a craft project with it, I can always take my gift wrapping up a notch! :)

  6. Love ribbons and these are wonderful images. When my daughter was in college, we did her bathroom in a shower curtain made entirely of different color ribbons...still have it hanging in a closet. It was so cute!!
