Simple Pleasures...

The older I get; the more I enjoy the so called "little things" in life.... waking up to birds chirping, the warmth of a freshly poured mug of coffee against my hands, the first bite of a croissant, the smell of my daughter's perfume that lingers when she's gone off to catch the bus.... the list goes on and on...

Some may equate the enjoyment of these simple pleasures with being simple minded...

I equate it with being present, being grateful in the "ordinary" and...... being happy.
It's that simple. :)
