In case you ever wondered.....

.........this is Marlowe; my soon to be 2 year old.  She is the youngest of my three daughters and the one I hang out with each day while my other two are at school (hence the namesake of this blog).  (Note:  don't worry, my other girls have had various things named after them too!).  My husband often accuses me of having a soft spot for this baby, and to that I say AMEN!!!  I have a soft spot for all of my girls and feel so blessed that God chose me to be their mom!  A typical day for us is running errands, reading books, nap-time, school pick-up,..... and moments like these....

yesterday, she climbed in my bed, hid among the pillows and kept calling my name until I came to find her;

walking around in my shoes;

sitting in an empty doughnut box and proceeding to get sprinkles all over the floor;

taking everything from the shelves in the pantry;

collecting acorns and "feeding" them to our cement dog on the front porch (no, I don't have a real dog; just lots of the stone variety around the house);

 and sitting on the front stoop looking at books.  

I can't think of a better view.
