Sugar & Spice & Everything Nice...

As a Southerner, a mother of three girls, and a former baby boutique owner; it shouldn't come as a big surprise that I love little girls' dresses.  I'm especially partial to summertime when bare arms, legs, and little toes; along with pretty pastels, bold prints, ginghams, dots and all variety of stripes abound....

Now, I don't normally lose control... but in this case... I'm toast.  I'm going to blame it on the fact that my two youngest girls wear a uniform every day to school and that my oldest, well, is a teenager and doesn't really care for my version of "cute" anymore. :)  I see my time is limited in enjoying my girls in those butterfly sleeves, smocked yokes and Lilly Pulitzer prints that I adore....

In anticipation of the first day of Spring, I already have the hand-me-downs,  the one's that still fit from last year and the ones bought during end of season clearance sales pressed and ready for the first really warm day...  And, I'll add a few new ones like those below to the rotation...

 And... I'm going to give myself some grace and just enjoy this little indulgence while it lasts... because heaven knows my babies are growing up fast.
