Clean Slate....

Today I have the enviable task of taking down the Christmas decorations.  Normally, I'd have them packed and stored the day after Christmas but lucky for me European custom (and my newfound relaxed attitude) dictates leaving them up thru Epiphany (Jan 6).

While I enjoy all of the pattern, color and general "clutter" that goes along with holiday decor.... my eye always craves ultra clean and minimalist interiors (and exteriors) once I get them down.  Something a bit like this...

    we put our Christmas stuff up early ... like before thanksgiving... I am ready for the clean by jan. 1st...no more clutter. Love your inspiration.!
