Fall Must-Have #4: A new watch

You would think that since I am now living in the watch-making capital of the world.... I would be craving a Rolex, Patek Phillipe or Cartier timepiece (which ofcourse would be lovely if my lifestyle and budget lent itself to such an indulgence).  Instead, however, I'd like to turn in the old Timex I stole from my husband for one of these.....

1/2/3/4

I honestly haven't thought about Swatch (the S standing for "Switzerland") watches since I was in middle school when my mother purchased one of the scented ones for me from The Limited (am I really dating myself or does anyone else remember these?) but I've spotted the much updated wrap around version on some chic women around town and I'm really drawn to it.  Ofcourse, there's that pink second hand, the preppy navy and the tortoise shell all calling my name too....... :)

  1. I still have my black swatch from 7th grade if you're interested ha! I recently stole a watch from my husband as well....he was okay with it when he realized it meant I wouldn't be spending money on a new one. Loving the wrap swatch, have not seen those....hmmm, much more chic than my timex ironman that I wear everyday

  5. You mean you don't wear a $15 digital from Walmart? Neither do I.

  6. I love the old Swatch watch. I remember saving my babysitting money to purchase my first one. However, I can't tell you the last time I wore a watch?? I guess I have gotten used to checking the time on my phone.

  7. Rolex is always a good choice. It is a classy piece that goes well with time. It can be your best friend with just about any event.
