Kumquat anyone?.....

Our daily outing yesterday found us at the local "jardin" centre where the girls fell in love with this and I was more than happy to oblige......

House of Marlowe
I've wanted to try my hand at a citrus tree for some time now and according to this article it shouldn't be too difficult to maintain.  Whether a dainty tabletop version or a statement making presence,  I absolutely love the combined effect of whimsy and beauty that a fruit bearing tree adds to a room.

...... not to mention.... might make for a tasty snack now and again. :)
