I couldn't rip out the pages fast enough when I saw these photos in the November issue of Southern Living. I adore screened porches and this one is beyond spectacular in my opinion. It always bothers me when a screened porch seems to be an after-thought; haphazardly thrown on the back or the side of a home; with an out of proportion entrance and mediocre furnishings..... because it becomes a less-appealing space that seldomly is used. However, this one is broken down into three cozy zones with a focus on scale, function and design. Add a grand entry, detailing, and interesting and comfortable furnishings and the screened porch becomes an integral part of the home.
