80's Throwback....

I'm praying that we never see the likes of the 80s big hair, stirrup pants and the UNITS clothing chain ever again.... however, I have to admit that I've enjoyed seeing a recent resurgence of some preppy classics from my (ahem) 'formative' years....



Anybody got an old add-a-bead necklace, Duckhead shorts or pair of Vuarnet sunglasses stashed away somewhere?  How about a Corona or Hard Rock t-shirt... penny loafers?.... I could go on and on... :)

    Your post made me laugh! I had an add a bead necklace...still love a little prep in my wardrobe. Did you wear duck boots or how about a raincoat printed with tiny whales? LOL

    I remember, and love, all these things. I had Tretorns in every color. I may just need to order a pair for summer. Loafers are still on rotation in my closet. But I have to agree about the hair & UNITS (what was up with that).

    Still have my Bermuda bags from the 80's and the covers to go with them. I have just been waiting for these gems to come back in style.
